Refund Policy

Our commitment to fairness โ€” and the standards we uphold

Refunds at Tanushree Collection are strictly applicable only for products that are damaged, defective, or incorrectly dispatched. Requests must be raised within 3 days of delivery. A complete unboxing video is mandatory for all refund claims โ€” requests without valid video proof will be declined.

01 โ€” Eligibility

When Are Refunds Applicable?

At Tanushree Collection, we take extraordinary pride in the craftsmanship and quality of every piece we curate. Refunds are considered only in the following limited circumstances:

  • The product received is physically damaged (broken, bent, shattered, or structurally compromised)
  • The product is functionally defective (clasp failure, stone missing at dispatch, manufacturing fault)
  • You received an incorrect product โ€” different from what was ordered (wrong design, wrong size, wrong metal)

All other requests, including change-of-mind, slight colour variation due to screen or lighting differences, personal preference changes, or size dissatisfaction, are not eligible for a refund.

02 โ€” Time Window

The 3-Day Rule

All refund requests must be initiated within 3 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date. The delivery date is determined by the tracking information provided by our courier partner.

Any request raised after this 3-day window will be automatically ineligible, regardless of the nature of the complaint. We strongly encourage you to inspect your purchase promptly upon delivery.

Day 0 โ€” Delivery Confirmed

Product delivered. The 3-day window begins immediately.

Day 1โ€“3 โ€” Contact Window

Raise your refund request with unboxing video and order details.

Day 4+ โ€” Ineligible

Requests submitted after Day 3 will not be entertained under any circumstance.

03 โ€” Mandatory Requirement

The Unboxing Video โ€” Non-Negotiable

To protect both our customers and our brand from fraud and misrepresentation, an unboxing video is compulsory for every refund request. This video serves as the primary evidence for your claim and must be captured in a single, uncut, continuous recording.

Your video must clearly capture the following four elements:

Sealed PackageClearly show the package is fully intact and unopened at the beginning of the video.

Shipping LabelThe courier label with your name, address, and order ID must be clearly visible.

Unboxing ProcessFilm the complete, uninterrupted opening of the package from first cut to full reveal.

Product ConditionShow the item from multiple angles in clear lighting so the defect or damage is evident.

Note: Edited, trimmed, incomplete, blurry, or dark videos will not be accepted. Tanushree Collection reserves the right to reject any video that does not meet these standards.

05 โ€” What Is Not Eligible

Exclusions & Limitations

The following situations are explicitly not covered under our refund policy:

  • Change of mind or personal preference after purchase
  • Minor colour variation due to screen calibration or photography lighting
  • Requests made after the 3-day delivery window
  • Products that have been worn, used, resized, or altered
  • Products with missing original packaging or accessories
  • Damage caused after delivery (scratches, breakage, mishandling)
  • Refund claims without a valid and complete unboxing video
  • Delivery delays caused by courier partners or third-party logistics

06 โ€” Refund Processing

After Approval

Once your refund request is approved following our internal review, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7โ€“10 business days, subject to your bank's processing timelines.

In some cases, we may offer a store credit, replacement product, or partial refund at our discretion, depending on the nature of the issue.

Tanushree Collection reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund cases. Our assessment is based on the unboxing video, order records, and the nature of the reported issue.

07 โ€” Colour Variation Notice

Screen & Lighting Differences

Jewellery, by its very nature, exhibits different appearances under different lighting conditions, photography environments, and display screens. The colours, lustre, and finish of products on our website may appear slightly different from the physical item due to:

  • Variation in monitor calibration and screen colour profiles
  • Studio lighting used in product photography
  • Natural light vs. indoor ambience when viewing the product
  • Metal or stone properties that reflect differently at various angles

Such variation is not considered a defect and is not grounds for a refund.
